Exhibition "Synthetica and Alterica" – Peep Ainsoo

We are excited to announce that Peep’s artwork “The Explorer” (2024) was included in the virtual art review exhibition “Synthetica and Alterica”, by the ArtX Gallery, which studies the progressing relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.

Dedicated to the fine interplay between innovation and identity in the world today, the theme of the show is dual: Synthetica represents the seamless integration of technology and artistic expression, which pushes the boundaries of human creations. Alterica, on the other hand, delves into concepts of exclusion and difference, exploring how technology both connects us, and isolates us from one another. “The Explorer” can thus be categorised under Synthetica, as it is a reflection on what the broader processes behind AI may be.

Along with the opening of the exhibition, the winners of the Silicon Valley International Contemporary Art Competition were announced. Therein, Peep was awarded the Honorable Mention prize.
